Presidential Decree “On the modernization of heating systems of public sector objects based on the public-private partnership” (No. PD-118, 10.04.2023) was adopted.

According to the Decree

The heat supply systems of 5,722 public social sector facilities in Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions will be modernized with the participation of the private sector.

In 2023, in all districts (cities) of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Kashkadarya, and Syrdarya regions, heating systems will be modernized in public social sector facilities based on the public-private partnership.

By June 1, project-estimate documents for the modernization of the heat supply system of social sphere objects in districts (cities) will be developed with the support of involved project institutes, and state expertise will be provided.

By July 1, concepts of modernization and management of the heat supply system of social sector objects will be approved in districts (cities) based on the public-private partnership.

From August 1, the work on the step-by-step modernization of the heating systems of the social sector objects in districts (cities) where the project-estimate documents have been developed and the project concepts have been approved will begin based on the public-private partnership.

Boilers that have successfully passed one year of testing in Uzbekistan and have a service guarantee of at least 15 years will be installed in social facilities.
