The Central Council of the People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan is carrying out systematic work to increase the economic, political, and social activity of youth and women in the country, promote their education, development of professional skills, and employment, as well as support entrepreneurial initiatives.
A round table on the topic “Corruption – a threat to the future” was held at the National University of Uzbekistan in order to inform the public about the fight against corruption and its negative consequences.
It was attended by deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, employees of the Central Council of the People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, deputies of local councils, professors and teachers, students, the media, and active youth.
At the beginning of the event, the deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, member of the Committee on Combating Corruption and Judicial-Legal Issues, Anvarkhon Temirov, spoke and expressed his opinion on the topic.
Muhsiddin Nizomiddinov, Head of Department of the Central Council of the People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, and Gavhar Karshiyeva, an activist of the “Youth Wing” of the People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, also delivered reports.
At the end of the meeting, the students received answers to their questions from the deputies. A group of students were presented with party membership certificates.
