The candidate from the People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan Ulugbek Inoyatov continued his next meeting with voters in Surkhandarya region.
The meeting took place in the front square of Termez State University.
Students, youth, public organizations, representatives of civil society institutions, deputies of local councils, and party activists participated in the dialogue.
Chairman of Surkhandarya Regional Council of the People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan Alisher Pardayev moderated the meeting. The proxy of the candidate, Mavluda Hasanova, gave the voters detailed information about the candidate’s biography.
The presidential candidate touched on the priority directions set in the election program and noted that based on the interests of the electorate and the program goals for the upcoming election, proposals were thoroughly analyzed based on the bottom-up system, and a comprehensive program was developed. About a hundred ideas and initiatives are being promoted in the program through nine directions.
In particular, the program promotes ideas and initiatives related to guaranteeing social protection, ensuring equal rights and opportunities, conducting a strong social policy, forming a socially oriented market economy, strict adherence to the rule of law, and further democratization of state and community management based on the principles of people’s power.
The candidate explained in detail every proposal in the program.
At the meeting, which took place in the spirit of open and sincere communication, the voters addressed the presidential candidate with the questions they were interested in.
In particular, the candidate was asked about his proposal to improve the lives of people with disabilities. The candidate emphasized that special attention will be paid to this urgent issue, and their opinions and suggestions will be taken when developing each program and plan. The program includes several proposals to ensure the needs, legal rights, and interests of persons with disabilities.
In particular, it was noted that the issue of expanding and developing the necessary conditions for the free use of city passenger transport, social and other infrastructure facilities for persons with disabilities, and taking measures required to implement the UN Global Disability Action Plan in Uzbekistan is being put forward.
At the meeting, the voters expressed their opinions about the program, its proposals, and its initiatives.
Activists who addressed the meeting called to support the candidate’s program for the President of Uzbekistan from the People’s Democratic Party, to participate in the election, showing an active citizenship position.
