Namangan City Council of the PDP of Uzbekistan, in cooperation with the 9th Family Polyclinic located in the territory of “Ozod” CAM, within the framework of the project “Maternity and child protection is in constant focus”, to strengthen the health of the population, including women, early detect and prevent various diseases, to improve the health of women and adolescents girls, held free medical examinations among children and pensioners from families in need of social protection by involving specialist doctors.
Leaders and responsible employees of Namangan Regional and City Council of the PDP of Uzbekistan and media representatives attended it.
Gynecologist, pediatrician, neuropathologist, cardiologist, endocrinologist, specialists in X-ray, ultrasound, laboratory analysis, and other specialists participated in the medical examination. Specialists examined 272 women and 107 children. 45 of them were diagnosed with various diseases. Of these, 37 people were examined by a pediatrician, 49 people were examined by a cardiologist, 9 people were examined by an endocrinologist, 10 were examined by an ENT specialist, 41 were examined by an obstetrician-gynecologist, 21 were examined by a neurologist, 15 were examined by an ultrasound scan, 31 were examined by an ECG, and 8 were examined by an X-ray examination, 96 citizens underwent medical examination after laboratory examination. A narrow range of specialists gave them the necessary recommendations and referrals.
During the medical examination, the activities of “Women’s consultation rooms”, established in primary medical and sanitary institutions to improve the health of women and teenage girls and the reproductive health of future mothers, which are being carried out to strengthen the health of mothers and children, and improve the quality of medical assistance to them, were studied. Also, the electronic list established in the polyclinic provides more convenience for the population and prevents excessive traffic.
Recommendations and referrals were given to low-income women in need of social assistance whose illness was diagnosed as a result of medical examination.
Following the event, the administration of the 9th Family Polyclinic, which closely cooperated in the organization of the medical examination, was presented with a letter of gratitude and souvenirs.
