The Tashkent Regional Council of the People's Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, together with primary party organizations and volunteer units, held a campaign event at the mahalla assembly "Nurabad" in the Okhangaran district.
At the meeting, the Chairman of the Tashkent Regional Council of the People's Democratic Party of Uzbekistan A. Umaraliev, Deputy Chairman of the Central Council of the party M. Vorisova, candidate for deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis K. Kasimova spoke about the new election program. The essence of the most important initiatives and directions put forward in the election program was explained.
At the meeting, the speakers touched upon proposals to maintain state control over strategically important companies by prohibiting their privatization at the legislative level. The issue of sending all revenues from the provision of public services or fines to the state budget by ministries and departments was also discussed. Information was presented on proposals to improve conditions for the self-employed and labor migrants, including expanding the list of activities that can be carried out as self-employed, with an emphasis on organized and orderly migration.
The program, goals and objectives of the People's Democratic Party are fully consistent with the principles of the "social state" mentioned in the new Constitution. In particular, protecting the interests of low-income citizens, citizens with disabilities, elderly people left without care, strengthening social protection corresponds to the ideas put forward by the party.
The People's Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, participating in the elections under the slogan "For the well-being of every person", strives to create decent living conditions for everyone based on the principles of social equality and justice, reduce social differences, help those in need, reduce poverty, provide the population with new jobs and a guaranteed source of income, supports the implementation of an effective policy to ensure.
Those gathered for the dialogue were called on to be active in the elections and vote for the People's Democratic Party and its candidates. At the end of the event, candidates and officials of the Tashkent Regional Council visited the homes of low-income families and spoke about political processes.
