The People's Democratic Party of Uzbekistan protects the interests of people in need of social protection, based on the principles of social justice. The party, considered the left wing of the country's political forces, considers such national interests as civil and interethnic harmony, social stability, and achieving the well-being of each family and the entire nation as the basis of its activities.

These days, representatives of the Tashkent City Council of the party, volunteer units, and candidates for deputies are holding large-scale pre-election campaign events and meetings.

At the moment, candidates' campaign videos are being shown on LED screens on the central streets of our capital. The party's slogans "For the well-being of everyone!", "For the sake of social equality!" are displayed on large-scale banners on billboards with slogans.

During dialogues with the party's voters, temporarily unemployed citizens, young people, women, and representatives of the social sphere, important initiatives and proposals provided for in the new election program are discussed.

In its election program, the party promotes more than 150 initiatives consisting of 10 directions and 15 strategic steps. In particular, to achieve the development and adoption of the "Social Code" by supplementing the legislation in the field of social protection of the population with new norms "On the procedure for determining minimum consumption costs" in order to determine the minimum consumer costs for the basic living needs of each person at the legal level, proposals and initiatives have been put forward, such as the adoption of a law, the development of national standards for the accessibility of facilities and services for people with disabilities and their strengthening at the legislative level.

In addition, the task of adopting the Law "On the regulation of housing and communal services and tariffs", the adoption of the Water Code to regulate public relations in the field of water use and protection is being promoted.
